What is considered a Wordmark ?

Logos can include a combination of words, images, colors, and other design elements. They can be simple or complex, and can be used on packaging, advertising, and other materials associated with a company’s products or services. Examples of trademark logos include the golden arches of McDonald’s, the apple with a bite taken out of it of Apple Inc. and the swoosh of Nike.Trademark registration for logos can be a bit more complex than for words, as the design must be distinctive and should not be similar or identical to any existing logos. Does the Fee Change for Logo & Wordmark?

Our professional fees and the government fees will be the same irrespective of if you select Logo/Wordmark to be registered. However if you wish to register the wordmark and logo, it should be treated as two applications and fees shall be charged accordingly.

Who is considered an Individual Applicant?

An individual applying for a trademark application is a person who is applying their own name, and not on behalf of a company or organization. In other words, the individual applicant is the person who is seeking to register a trademark for their personal use, rather than for a business or commercial purpose.

Who is considered a Business/Organisation Applicant?

A business applicant for a trademark application is an entity that is applying on behalf of a company or organization. This could include corporations, partnerships, limited liability partnerships (LLPs), or other legal entities that are engaged in commerce or business activities.

Does the Fee Change for Individuals & Organisations?

Our professional fees remain the same but the Government fee for Individual applicants is INR 4500 where as for Organisational Applicants the Govt fee is INR 9000. How ever if the organisation is an MSME/Startup India Recognised entity the Govt Fees shall be INR 4500.

When shall you select the proposed to be used?

If you are yet to put the wordmark/device mark in use, please use Proposed to be used. But if you are already using the wordmark/device mark please state the date of use.

What documents are required if Trademark is Already used?

You might need to produce legal documents such as Certificates or Invoices or any other documents which show the word/Logo and date of use to claim the fact.
