Looking at the constantly growing popularity of startups in India, the Government of India has taken the Startup India Initiative. It is launched in order to develop Indian economy and attract talented entrepreneurs. This programme facilitates the ease of doing business in India.Till date, More than 3,500 startups have been recognized as eligible for benefits under the scheme and 67 startups have already started availing full benefits under the scheme. Some of the major benefits of this program include Tax exemption for start-ups for three years, around 10,000 crore corpus fund to support start-ups, reduced fees for trademark and patent registration, a 90-day business closure process and many more.
